How does it work?

For a School, Sports Club, or charity, a typical charity fundraising event for up to 100 people costs £400. The event is self-funding, and payment can be made out of the money raised on the night or by invoice, depending on what works best for the society.

We provide all the necessary equipment, including a projector screen, projector, small PA, music, races, race cards, and Tote tickets, and serve as the compère for the entire evening. To participate, the society must provide a prize for each winning owner and/or trainer for each race. Previous events with an audience of 80 to 100 people have raised between £1000 and £2000, based on the whole pre-sell sheet being sold. We have been known with this number of people to raise in excess of £3500!

A pre-sell sheet will be provided before the event, showing all eight runners in each of the eight races. The society is responsible for selling as many owners and trainers as possible before the event, typically for £5 or £10 each, with a potential for raising £320 or £640 before the event. In addition, sponsorships can be sold for £25 or £50 per race, raising a further £200 or £400. If the above sounds good, interested parties can call the event organizer to discuss further requirements and planning, all of which are included in the stated price.
